And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.

Anais Nin

I am a Multi-hyphenate Artist with a penchant for storytelling through images. Editorial meets documentary with an emphasis on natural light and composition best describes my style, choosing to highlight raw emotion and the beauty inherent within the mundane. I use aesthetic visual storytelling in single frames to connect the audience empathically to the subject.

Currently I am focused on the unconventional stories of Black women and men in an attempt to broaden the perception of Blackness in the United States, reveal the multiplicity of expression and humanity of Black people, and reclaim my own self-defined Black female maverick identity. Born in Germany and raised in Florida, I am currently based in Oakland, CA.

In my consultation practice, I assist Black womxn in catalyzing their entrepreneurial visions into inspired action in creative, clear and strategic approaches to branding, marketing and media. I aim to inspire us to be more free, more seen and more expressed now and in the future.
